Today I want to talk about one of the most valuable steps of the Ultimate 401k Advantage™ 5 Step Process.

That is the 5th step of educating your employees.

There are so many studies out there that talk about lost productivity due to financial stress, and even studies that relate financial stress to increasing your health care costs.

That’s why I think this could be the most important step of the whole process, and that’s why I want to talk about it.

Why is educating your employees so important? I think there are several different reasons.

First, is that when you educate your employees on the basics of financial literacy, you can start to reduce some of the stress they feel about money.

Employees who are stressed about their finances are more susceptible to being recruited for $1 more an hour than those who are less financially stressed.

A Price Waterhouse Cooper study found that 63% of employees say their financial stress has increased since the start of the pandemic.
